Radio, TV & Gigs, Gigs, Gigs!

Well…we’ve been live on Three D Radio, have a TV appearance this Saturday 30th September, gigs galore in October and a single release is coming! One word folks – EPIC!

(Here’s a little reel of us galavanting ‘Live at Studio Three’ last Wednesday 21st September on Three D Radio in Adelaide).

Community radio is a life force for indie music. In Adelaide we have awesome radio stations, which Newgate Crowd has been so fortunate to be welcomed on. Three D Radio have highly experienced and skilled specialists from the music industry volunteering their time and we would like to express a big thanks to Simon, Nigel and the Three D team for sharing this. For the benefit of the music community.

If you tuned in, you would have heard our soon to be single release, ‘Change of Mood’. Who was paying attention?

This Saturday, 30th September tune in to Channel 44 at 7:30pm to watch us on ‘Inspired By’ with Isabella Taylor! Currently in its third season, Isabella and ‘Inspired By’ have been nominated for 3 antenna awards, recognising outstanding achievement in community television. Whilst we won’t be grabbing any awards for acting…or talking in general, watch this Saturday and appreciate the incredible talent of this multi skilled 11 year old.

Check out our Gig listing here on the website for all the upcoming. October is big with gigs at Broadcast Bar (6th), Lowlife Basement Bar (12th), Enigma Bar (13th) and the Budburst Festival (28th). Looking forward to first time gigs with Sticky Beak, Exit Plan and Poets of Slam Society. Plus the incredible local Barossa talent at Budburst. More on this come.

And…thanks to heavy hitters, Swordfish Trombone for inviting us in to the Rhino Room gig last Friday! We had a blast, jamming to Jambi – don’t get many opportunities to do that! And for Will Oakeshott and his epic chops!
